Today was another super busy day. We had 3 soccer games - 11:00, 1:00, and 2:00. My grandma was able to come to them today, and the kids loved it! (as did my grandma) Of course, my parents were there as well. For the first game they brought their new puppy - a mini pin named Tinkerbelle. She is a TINY dog!! She was a big hit with the kids at the game. But she was being pretty whiny, and not liking the wind, so my parents took her home during our 1 hour break.
Kids playing sports is just entertaining. Last year we did t-ball, this year soccer. They play for the YMCA, so it's very low key - non-competitive. I actually enjoy it - less pressure on the kids. But the kids are so much fun to watch. Half the time, they score in the other team's goal. And I'm not just talking about my kids, I'm talking all the kids out there. Caleb (my oldest) really gets into the games. He's really learning, and doing great! Conner is good for about the first quarter, then he loses interest. Megan just likes to play on the field - and not necessarily soccer. LOL But it is so much fun to watch!! I just wish I would remember the sunscreen earlier. I am red again! That makes 3 weeks in a row! My momnesia is in full swing... Of couse, if you saw me trying to get around with all the junk I take - stroller, diaper bag, blanket, lawn chair for me and each kid, kids' buckets (team thing), 4 kids - you would understand why I occasionally forget the sunscreen. ;)
After the games, we headed home for a quick cleanup, then to Megan' birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. We were not the only family that had their party there today. lol That place was packed!! And the kids there were WILD. But we had lots of fun, and got lots of tickets. Madison was awake most of the time. I think she got a little overstimulated though (who can blame her??! I got overstimulated) b/c after a short time of fussing, she went to sleep.
Speaking of sleep, that's what I should be doing. I am so exhausted! I would say maybe there's something wrong w/ me b/c I'm always tired. But I think the only thing wrong with me is being a sahm of 4 kids - one of which is only 7 weeks old and not going more than 4 hours between feedings at night.
Goodnight!!
