I've been blogging on aother site for a while now, but it's one of those "social websites", and I'm ready for an actual blog. So here I am. My life is crazy right now. I have a 7 week old, 4 year old, 5 year old, and 6 year old. Yes, we have 4 kids. And yes, we know what causes that. We actually planned to have this many kids. I know, I just shocked some of you. You are thinking - why in the world would anyone want 4 kids?! Well, we did, and we love it!! I wouldn't change it for anything. And here's another shocker - we may not be done! I know, jaws are dropping everywhere! But I'm more of the "leave it in God's hands" camp now. Trust me, when we were first married, I had no problem using b/c. I wanted to "time" our kids just right. But when we decided it was time to try, I didn't get pregnant right away. God knew better. It was a year later that I finally got pregnant with our first blessing, Caleb. When he was 6 months old (yes, that says months), I had this strong feeling that it was wrong to be on b/c. I talked to hubby about it, and we agreed to go off the b/c and see what happened. Well, much to our surprise, I was already pregnant w/ blessing #2 - Conner. After Conner, we did go back on b/c for a while. It only took 3 months to get pregnant with blessing #3 - Megan. However, when we decided to try one more time, it took a little longer again. But 7 weeks ago, blessing #4, Madison was added to our family.
A little more about me - I'm a sahm. With 4 kids you kind of have to be. lol My hubby is a teacher at a private school. We are also in the process of starting a church. We will be starting a new campus for an established church. But more on that later.
I enjoy being a sahm, but there are definitely times I miss the adult interaction. It can get pretty lonely around here during the day. Of course, I'm usually too busy to think about.
